SACCO LUCILLE PELUSO 76, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in her home. She was born December 13, 1936 in West Aliquippa, PA. She was the daughter of the late Guy and Virginia Ciccarelli Peluso. She was a wonderful mother and housewife. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Gabe Sacco; she was preceded in death by her ten year old son, Gaby; she is survived by a daughter, Anni (Joe) Sacco DeAndrea; two sisters, Rita Peluso Rudolph and Jean Peluso; and a brother, Robert (Shirley) Peluso. BONIDY LUCY ANN PALLONE 86, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Born August 22, 1926, in New Kensington to the late Patsy and Teresa Marsico Pallone. She was a 1945 graduate of Ken-Hi and worked as a teller at Pittsburgh National Bank in New Kensington for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Mrs. Bonidy was a longtime member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington where she attended church daily until physically unable to do so. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Anthony J. Bonidy and his wife, Linda, of Fox Chapel, and Dr. Thomas A. Bonidy and his wife, Jeanne, of Allison Park; granddaughter, Shelley McIlroy, and her husband, Robert; and their children, Maggie, Katie and Emma; grandson, Joseph Bonidy, and his wife, Allie; and their children, Caroline, Benjamin and Elizabeth, all of Fox Chapel; and her brother, Frank B. Pallone of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Michael Bonidy in 1986; a granddaughter who died in infancy in 1984, Laura Bonidy; and siblings, Joseph Pallone, Mary Belli, Tony Pallone, Frances, and William Pallone and Flora Harrison. She worked at Regency Hall Nursing Home for many years as a registered dietician. After retiring and moving to Florida, she enjoyed working with children at Lamarque Elementary School in North Port and was honored to be selected Senior Volunteer of the Year. Wife of the late Donald Schramm, Carol is survived by her companion of 16 years, Wallace Micosky; her three sons, Daniel (Judy) of Houston, TX, David (Suzanne) of North Port, FL, and Douglas (Shannon) of Glenshaw, PA. CHOBY EDWARD GEORGE, JR., Ph.D. Born December 11, 1937, unexpectedly passed in his 75th year of life on Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Hot Springs, Colorado while on a hiking trip. Preceded in death by his father, Edward George Choby, Sr. and Katherine Voith Choby. He leaves behind a sister, Jane Choby Donnelly (Dennis, deceased) and David Choby (Ruth Ann); his wife, the former Lois Agnes Lutty; he also leaves behind his children, Cathlene Marie Choby Mohney (Gerald) of Washington, PA and Michael Choby of Skokie, Illinois; he also leaves behind nieces and nephews. Dr. Choby retired from Allegheny Ludlum Industries in 1998 after 30 years of service at the Laboratory in Brackenridge, PA. WRIGHT ROBERT CLIFTON Passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at the age of 99. Born in Ingomar, PA, on December 30, 1913, the first born son of Ralph C. Wright and Agnes Young Wright. He attended the Simpson School and then Sewickley High School, graduating in 1931. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Ellerton on October 18, 1941. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, 8th Air Force, with overseas duty at Honington Air Field, 60 miles north of London, England. He was a chemical warfare specialist and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1945. After returning to civilian life, he began a forty year career in the construction business, working five years for Homestead Valve Mfg. Co., then 35 years for Martin W. Wise, Inc. in Leetsdale. He was a member of the Sewickley United Methodist Church, where at one time or another, he served as Chair of the Trustees, as a member of the Finance Committee, as a teacher, as Sunday school superintendent, as historian, and he carved turkey for the annual turkey dinner for nearly 60 years. He was a member of the Freemasons of Pennsylvania, Doric Lodge #630, for more than 60 years, and before his Masonic Village nursing home confinement, attended the Sewickley Senior Men's Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; his sisters, Lois Wright Boal and Marjorie Ann Wright; and his brother, Russell James Wright; he is survived by his two sons, Thomas (Fay) and Roger (Pam); six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013, at the RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME in Sewickley. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Sewickley United Methodist Church, with interment with military honors at the Sewickley Cemetery following the service. Born in Blawnox, PA, June 2, 1934 to the late Majorie (Sprankle) and Harry Raymond Walton; beloved wife of the late Ernest Payer; loving mother of Lisa (Payer) Rickus (spouse Edward) and Eve-lyn (Payer) Laboon (spouse Justin); grandmother of Corey Laboon, Jonah Rickus, Margo Laboon; sister of Jo Ann Schaffner and the late Janice Lewis; also survived by sister-in-law, Monika (spouse James) Folmer and many nieces and nephews. Graduated from Aspinwall High School 1952. Member of Kathryn Kuhlman Choir for five Years. Worked at Gulf Research until her marriage in 1960, then devoted her life to her family. She was involved in many church activities, member of Christian Women's Club, Epiphany Lutheran Church Ladies Guild, Zion ELCA, Sunday School Teacher, Volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, volunteer at Seneca Nursing Home, volunteer at Zion Lutheran Church after school program as a tutor. In her spare time, she enjoyed needle point, reading novels and her daily devotions. Currently a member at Zion Lutheran Church. The family wishes to thank all of the UPMC medical staff, Seneca Place, Heartland Hospice, friends and family who supported us during difficult times.
