VANDERTIE LUCILLE M. 97, of Moon Twp., formerly of Douglassville, PA, died on Friday, September 13, 2013 in her home. She was born in Solon Mills, Illinois on July 26, 1916 to the late Martin and Matilda Young. She was a 50 year member of Immaculate Conception B.V.M Church, Douglassville, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jule J. Vandertie in 2004; her stepdaughter, Lois Vandertie Neils; a grandson, Coleman Insley Fowler; and a brother, Woodrow Young. She is survived by her three daughters, Suzan M. Vandertie, Moon Twp., Lynne Vandertie Fowler (Caleb), Virginia, Victoria Vandertie Nevins, Phoenixville, PA; a brother, Erv Young; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. All services are private. THE HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES of Moon Twp. is in charge of arrangements. Private interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Douglassville, PA.
