On Monday, December 16, 2013, formerly of Swissvale. Loving father of John T. Madigan of Forest Hills, Mary Lou Madigan Vogt and her husband, Ed of Jefferson Hills and Thomas J. Madigan, Jr. of Swissvale; dear grandfather of Taylor, Dillon, Alex, Elizabeth, and Gianna; former husband of Cis Madigan; brother of Kathleen Hauck and the late Paul and David; son of the late Francis and Ella Madigan; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Madigan retired as the business manager of M.C.A. Plumbers Local 27. He was a democratic chairman of the Swissvale Council for many years. He was an active member of the St. Anselm Parish and the St. Paul Monastery. Tom worked as the maintenance director for the Kane Hospital system. Friends received 2-8 p.m. THURSDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Anselm Roman Catholic Church on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m.
