BROGGI ROBERT A. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, for Robert A. Broggi, age 81, of Monongahela, Carroll Twp. who died Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital. Born January 18, 1935, in Gallatin, he was the son of James and Mabel (Sickels) Broggi. In 2001, Dr. Broggi retired as the principal for the Upper St. Clair School District. A graduate of Monongahela High School, he was proud to have served in the United States Army. He was also proud to have been a member of the Henry M. Phillips Masonic Lodge in Monongahela for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roseanne (Volker) Broggi; a daughter and son-in-law, Rori and Bill Carnahan of Moon Twp.; a grandson, Nolan Carnahan; two nephews, Joseph and wife, Lisa Dusi and their family and Peter and his wife, Janet Dusi and their family. Entombment was held in Mon-Valley Memorial Park, Donora with military honors conducted by the Mon-Valley honor Guard and Firing Squad. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
