SRINIVASAGAM NARASIMMAN, M.D. It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Narasimman Srinivasagam M.D. (Vasagam) announces his peaceful passing on April 12, 2016, surrounded by his family in Tampa, Florida. His parents, Narasimha Naiker and Engammal, preceded him in his death. He is survived by his beloved Nancy; cherished children, Kamala (Kate) Vasagam, Nalini (David Turner) Vasagam, Rachel (Sean) McDonough and Shekar (Heather) Srinivasagam. But the real loves of his life were the grandchildren who gave him such pleasure, love and joy, Liam, Breanna and Dylan McDonough, Madeline and Jacqueline Perkins and Lucas and Lily Vasagam. He is also survived by his two special nieces in India, Revathy and Dhanalakshmi. Dr. Srinivasagam was a native of Kuruvikulam, India and immigrated to the United States in 1965 to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he was a respected physician for 47 years. Aside from his family and practice, his proudest accomplishment was being one of the founding members of the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Pittsburgh, PA, the first Hindu temple in North America. He will be missed by his friends, his colleagues and those he touched through his knowledge, generosity of spirit and kindness. His family's lives will never be the same without him. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be sent in Dr. Srinivasagam's honor to the Sri Venkateswara Temple, P.O. Box 17280, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 or the American Kidney Fund (www.kidneyfund.org). Friends will be received on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at the BLOUNT & CURRY FUNERAL HOME, 3207 W.
