KANE JEAN Age 91, on Monday, April 11, 2016, formerly of Scranton, PA. We tearfully say goodbye to Eugenia Marie Harding Kane, a loving mother, faithful friend, extraordinary bridge player, and stylish fashionista. Jean was born July 13, 1924. She was the widow of Atty. Joseph P. Kane of Throop. Jean and Joe were married for 50 years and raised their three daughters in Greenridge, Kristine (Joe) Demko of San Francisco, CA, Kathryn (Derek) Backa of Pittsburgh, PA and the late Frances A. "Frana" Kane; grandmother of Katie (Lee) London, Ryan Backa and Julia Backa; great-grandmother of Nora London. Memorial Services for Jean will be held privately in Scranton, PA.
