KERR JOHN E. JACK On Sunday, January 5, 2014, John E. Jack Kerr, age 93, of McCandless Twp. Born April 16, 1920 in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Beloved husband for 64 years of Virginia (English) Kerr; father of Jack, Jr. (Mary) Kerr, Kenneth (Kristyn) Kerr, and Florence (Chuck) Bittner; brother of Kathleen Hogue; grandfather of Erin and Jason Kerr; also survived by nieces and nephews. Jack was a veteran of WWII, having served in the 15th Engineer Corps. in Europe. He was a member of Schenley High and Pitt Football teams and was a lifelong sports fan. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday 11:30 a.m., preceded by visitation at 11:00 a.m., in Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
