JAMROM GLORIA Spunky, adored mother, grandmother and friend, died peacefully, at age 93, in Allison Park, on Sunday, January 29, 2017. Gloria was a homemaker extraordinaire who made the house designed and built by her former husband, the late architect Sam Jamrom, a welcoming center of life for her extended family and friends. She was a substitute teacher for the Hampton Township Schools. She loved to sing and knew the lyrics to countless songs and parodies from all across the 20th century. Her love of music was passed on to her three sons, and her always-anticipated dinners and desserts will be long remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Rose Friedman; sister, Phyllis (Albert Felder); and son, Noah. Surviving are sons, Andrew (Laura Kazimir) and Joshua (Melinda); niece and nephews, Ellen, Bill, John, George, and Karl Felder, Charles and Adam Leavitt; and grandchildren, Jeremiah, Moriah, and Sophie Jamrom, Dana, Nicholas and Natalie Lombardo. A Memorial Service will be held at her home on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 2 p.m. Please consider contributing in Gloria's memory to any of the following organizations: Elmcroft of Allison Park, 2224 Walters Road, Allison Park, PA 15101, Grane Hospice Care, 260 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238, or your chosen breast cancer or Alzheimer's disease awareness fund.
