SROKA JOHN ANTHONY JACK Age 80, of Lancaster, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Jack served in the United States Marine Corps. In 2005, Jack took a big leap and formed his own company, Jack Sroka Company. He was inducted into the Greater Pittsburgh Bowling Hall of Fame (1990), K of C Art Bevenger Sportsmanship Award (2002), Southeastern Ohio USBC Area Bowling Hall of Fame (2016). Jack was a member of the FOE Eagles, Moose, and K of C. He bowled 50 years in the USBC Open Championships. As of 2016 there have been 205 bowlers in history with 50 years of bowling, Jack was No. 203. Jack is survived by his wife of 30 years, Becky (Turner) Sroka; children: Jacqueline Sroka, Pittsburgh, John Sroka, Pittsburgh, Shane Tyler (Trish), stepson, Lancaster; grandchildren: Darrien (Emily Cramer) Sroka, Devin Sroka, John Sroka III, all from Cranberry Township, PA, Keiton Tyler, Lancaster; great- great-grandchild, Abby Sroka; brothers and sisters: Martha Kuzmovich, Dolores Kszastowski, Paul Sroka; sisters and brothers-in-law: Judy (Tom) Gasser, Shelly (Bill) Deville, Barry Turner, Scott Turner; numerous nieces and nephews; friend, Ray Valerino, Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Dabkowski) Sroka; brothers and sisters, Anna Johnson, Harry Sroka, Frank Sroka, Marie Debski, Jeanie Repasky; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mike Turner, Ruth Sroka, Mike Kszastowki, Charles Kuzmovich, Martha Sroka, and Josie Sroka. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the BORON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1719 Brownsville Road where Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
