GRAVENSTRETER JAMES P. MR. G. 95, passed away January 20, 2014, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his wife, Norma; his son, Jimmy; and his daughter, Susan. He is survived by his sons, Gregory and Jeffrey; his daughters, Shirley and Patricia; and his grandsons, Jeffrey, Jonathan and James (Jack), who will all miss him dearly; and an extended family of nephews and nieces, their spouses and children. Mr. G. worked in the steel industry all his life and leaves countless colleagues who were also like family to him. Having earned Eagle Scout rank in 1933 at the age of 15, Mr. G. instilled the scouting spirit in all his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at a later date.
