BRANTING DESPINA E. Born in Huntington, Long Island, passed away on February 21, 2018. She was a graduate of Russell Sage College in Troy New York, where she met her husband, Reyman Branting, an engineering student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. They were married for 62 years. Despina was a Merchandising Manager for Oil of Olay. Her territory included about 1/3 of the U.S. She volunteered at Family House for several years, becoming the Coordinator of Volunteers. Despina was active for many years in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She was a member of the Parish Council and, with a friend, established the Sixties Club for activities of older church members. She enjoyed travel, both domestic and foreign. With a gregarious personality, she made lasting friends of several fellow travelers. She is survived by daughters, Katrina Branting (Joe) and Krisoula Faller (David); granddaughter, Alexis Fallers; and grandsons, Matthew Faller and Joseph Martina.
