THIMONS ALBERT J. Age 96, of Dorseyville, on February 22, 2018. Beloved husband for 71 years of the late Margaret "Peggy" Scholl Thimons; father of Allen J. (Suzanne) Thimons, Jerrold L. (Jeanie) Thimons, Mark W. (Jeanne) Thimons, and Susan (Jeff) Simoni; brother of Mary Kish, Raymond (Florence) Thimons, and the late Agnes McCullough, Annabelle Segriff, and John Thimons; proud grandfather of Shelly (Bob) Maccini, Scott (Amy) Thimons, Cari (Frank) Hartle, Jason (Christina) Thimons, Clint (Brenda) Thimons, Matthew (Kelsey) Thimons, Jami Thimons, Christine (Jim) Hutchinson, Angela Kelley, Jessica (Joe) Saunders, Justin (Jamie) Simoni, and Lindsey (Jim) Clark; also survived by 32 great-grandchildren. A U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, Albert was a pilot and flight instructor during WWII. He worked for over 45 years for PPG Industries in safety glass sales and service and was a life member of Dorseyville Volunteer Fire Dept. Albert loved to fish, hunt, go camping, build and fly model planes, and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially watching their sporting events.
