NEWHAM ROBERT MICHAEL Age 70, of Penn Hills, passed away on February 24, 2018. Beloved husband of Robin (Onder) Newham; loving father of Christopher (Tara) Newham, of Pittsburgh, Craig Newham, of Pittsburgh, and Chad Newham, of Orlando, FL; cherished grandfather of Kolton Robert Newham. He is also survived by siblings, Barbara (Tom) McKittrick, of Pittsburgh, Donald (Mary) Newham, of Pittsburgh, Donna (Jim) Gamrod, of Pittsburgh, and Michael (Amy) Newham, of Arizona. Bob cherished his many cousins, other family members, and devoted friends. Bob was a retired special education teacher in the Penn Hills School District, was a volunteer at the Pittsburgh Zoo, CCD teacher at St. Bernadette for many years, and he was a proud member of the Schweizer Maennerchor Helvetia (The Swiss Singers). He was a good teacher who truly cared about his students. He also loved to cook and eat, but most of all he loved his family. Friends will be received Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL), corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville, (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, with Father Richard J. Tusky, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park.
