WEISSER WILLIAM F., Sr. Age 85, of Ambridge, formerly of Neville Island, passed away March 1, 2018. William was born in Neville Island to Clara Dapper and Edward Weisser. He was an Army veteran during the Korean conflict, a Truck Driver with Pittsburgh Builders Supply retiring in 1993 with 35 years of service, he was also a member of St. Joseph Church, a Teamster member with Local 249, and a Lifetime member of VFW Post 402. William enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, Paul (Nikki) Weisser, Houston, TX, Brenda Lee (David) Spears, Charlotte, NC, William F. (Alice) Weisser, Jr., Harmony Twp.; a sister, Katie Howard Rodgers, AR; a brother, Henry Weisser of TX; a sister-in-law, Rachel Weisser, Reynoldsville, OH; eight grandchildren, Georgia, Billy, Amelea, Charlie, Joshua, Panda, Cassie, Chelsea; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his first wife, the late Mary Wright, and his second wife, Carmella Policari; also two sisters, Mary Eshenbaugh, Clara Foldus; brothers, Joseph Weisser, Charles Weisser; brothers-in- law, Richard Greenhouse, Charles Wright, Robert Howard, Jim and Jennie Felton. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COPELAND CORAOPOLIS FUNERAL HOME where a Private Blessing Service will be held on Monday followed by Military Honors. Members of VFW Post 402 will hold a Service Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
