ROOF JOHN P. On Thursday, March 13, 2014, age 87, of Pittsburgh. Born on March 17, 1926, the son of the late John Curtis and Agnes Beatrice (Malarkey) Roof. Preceded in death by his loving wife and mother of his children, Mary E. Roof; two sons, Edward and William Roof; as well as two brothers and one sister. After Mary passed, John later remarried the late Betty Ruth Miller. Dear father of Patricia (James ) Michel, Margaret Kress, and John Curtis (Lois) Roof; proud grandfather of Deven Michel, Richard (Karen) Kress, Edward, and Joseph Kress, Sarah (Jon) Snyder, Tracy (Darrell) Land, Kimberly (David) Wright, and Michael Roof; great-grandfather of 12.
