KREMER PHILLIP A. Age 70, of Verona, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. Son of the late Francis and Grace (Hoak) Kremer; beloved husband for 48 years of Carol (Garzotto) Kremer; loving father of Gretchen (Steven) Davidson and Kristen (Anthony) Booker; grandfather of Brandon, Kyle, Kali, Kenny, Anthony, and Ava; dear brother of Phyllis Speer, Rosemary Rushford-Baker, Shirley Bollinger, and Alan Kremer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Phil had a 26-year career as a nursing assistant and safety technician at the VA on Highland Drive. He was an avid sportsman and fisherman, enjoying many outdoor activities with his grandchildren. Phil proudly served our country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Friends and relatives will be received on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Funeral Service Monday, September 24, 2018, 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens with military honors.
