SALAY STEVE JOHN "PIP" Of West Mif?in, on January 20, 2019, age 89. Beloved husband of 65 years of Eleanor L. (King) Salay; father of Sharon (Tom) Schwab, Joyce (John) Traynor and Susan (Gary) Bissell; grandfather of Amy (Gio) Gensale, Katie Pachuta, Steven Pachuta, Nikki Bissell and Brandon Bissell; great-grandfather of Kaley Pachuta, Terry Pachuta, Vittorio Gensale, Max Gensale and Lucas Gensale; also predeceased by his seven brothers and sisters. Steve was an avid Steelers fan and he enjoyed all of the Pittsburgh Sports teams. He was a steelworker for 38 years at US Steel Homestead Works. He was a lifelong member of the Owls club and he played softball for the union for US Steel. He was a Veteran of the Army and proudly served in Germany.
