KRAUS JOSEPH E. Age 72, of Shaler Twp., passed peacefully at home on Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was the son of Verna (Fredrick) and the late Joseph Peter Kraus; beloved husband of Josephine Frances (Hrason) Kraus, who he married June 29, 1963; loving father of Stephen Joseph (Rebecca Cunningham) Kraus; Pap Pap Joe to Wills, Olivia and Harrison; brother of David W. Kraus and Kathy Lynn Dunn; uncle to Alex Dunn; brother- in-law of Edward and Anna Marie Hrason Frketic and Joseph E. Hrason. Joe was a 1960 graduate of North Catholic High School and received his degree in business from CCAC. He worked for USX Accounts Payable for 30 years. He also worked for the PA DOC Woods Run and the PA Department of Revenue, Business Tax Division. He was a life member of the Elks and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Richard Church, Richland Twp., on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment in Most Holy Savior Mausoleum, Richland Twp.
