MAGER MARY J. We celebrate the life of Mary Hannah (Johns) Mager. She was born July 11, 1919, in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Ida (Weinert) and David Johns; sister of Robert Johns (the late Louise Hall Johns); loving wife of the late John Nicholas Mager; devoted mother of Nick (Debbie), Christy, Barbara Cable (Chip) and the late Bruce Richard Mager; caring mother-in-law to Gail Holben Mager; cherished Grandma "Bo" to Jay, Kirk, Emily, Matt, Elizabeth and Abby; great-grandma to Mimi, Katheryn, Alex, Jack, Stella, Anna and Samantha. Mary was a longtime resident of Mt. Lebanon and recently of Country Meadows in Bridgeville, where she died peacefully on March 9, 2014. Mary was a woman of deep faith and exemplary faithfulness. She will be remembered for her love of God, her love of her family and her kindness and thoughtfulness to all whom she touched (Phil. 4:4-13). Memorial Service in Southminster Presbyterian Church, 799 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive guests at the church following the service.
