HOUSE CLYDE R. Age 95, of Moon Twp., passed away peacefully, on Thursday, April 24, 2014. He was born in North Braddock on May 27, 1918, the son of the late Clyde F. and Minnie (Hamilton) House. Clyde served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was Fire Chief of North Braddock Borough before going on to work as a fireman for Allegheny County at the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife of 62 yrs., Hilary (Scherrbaum) House; a daughter, Dr. Claudia J. House of Moon Twp.; and a son, Clyde J. "C.J." House of Cecil Twp. Clyde was the proud grandfather of Paul J. House and Nicole A. House. He is also survived by four sisters. Friends will be received on Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 12-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES OF MOON TWP. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.), where a Prayer Service will held be on Monday at 9:30 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Moon Twp. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
