BROZ CESIRA IDA (DelFABRO) Age 97, of Pittsburgh's North Side, died peacefully at home on May 15, 2014. Ida was born in Forni Avoltri, Italy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, and her brothers, Gino and Joe. Survived by her sons, John (Joan) and James (Carol); her granddaughters, Julie (Nick) and Jena; her great-granddaughter, Kendall; two step-grandchildren, Mack (Susan) and Joy (Earl), and seven step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Jack. Ida came to the United States in 1937 and worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. In particular she loved her peach trees! She also volunteered at the local food banks. A special thank you to everyone at Forbes Hospice along with her caregivers, Jeannie, Kim and Leslie for their wonderful care, love and support. Visitation will be held at HEARD FUNERAL HOME, 4047 Perrysville Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15214, on Saturday, May 17, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
