McElhone; grandfather of Michael (Gina), Timothy (Erica), Sean (Jenna) McElhone and Christie (Morgan) Hardesty; great-grandfather of Aubrey, Aria, Harper, Zachary, Marek, Timothy, Vincenzo, Hailey, Hannah, Christian, Alana, Callen; and a great-grandson due any day now; brother of the late Betty Fischer and Thomas R. McElhone. Mr. McElhone was a retired Captain and member of the Pittsburgh Firefighters Union, Local 1, a WWII Marine Corps 2nd Division Veteran, and former manager of the Pittsburgh Firefighters Federal Credit Union.
