RICHARD "RICK" LEE JONES, JR. Age 67, of New Eagle, formerly of Castle Shannon, died peacefully Friday, September 4, 2020. Born May 27, 1953, in Fairfax, Virginia, he was the son of the late Richard Lee, Sr. and Ruth (Heck) Jones. A 1972 graduate of Keystone Oaks High School, Rick retired after 41 years in the retail operations department at Macy's Department Store (formerly Kaufmanns). He had a passion for photography and freelance drawing, especially caricatures of his friends and family. He loved to cook, fish and deep-sea sailing. An avid dog lover, he is survived by his wife, Linda (Carr) Jones, who he married April 24, 1984; two sons, Adam Jones (Brian) and Nathan Jones; two brothers, William Jones and Robert (Sue) Jones, and a sister, Linda Jones, all of Castle Shannon; a sister-in-law, Aileen (Duncan) Smith; and a brother-in-law, Tim (Marybeth) Carr; his daughter-in-law, Tiffany Hollis of Monongahela; a nephew, Bobby Jones; and a niece, Christina Carr. Rick was preceded in death by his son, Gregory J. Jones, who passed away on May 29, 2020. Friends and family are asked to go DIRECTLY to Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 West Main St., Monongahela on Thursday, September 10, 2020 for a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
