ANDREW WILLIAM McNELIS Andrew W. McNelis, of West Homestead, on Sept. 6, 2020, age 73. Son of the late Andrew and Mary (Peretin) McNelis; beloved husband of 51 years of Marguerite (Vamos) McNelis; father of Andrew (Valerie) McNelis III; grandfather of Donovan McNelis; brother of Ellen Medina and the late Richard McNelis, Gene McNelis, and Alice Brindle. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends received on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, from 2 - 8 p.m. at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, 10 a.m. at the St. Paul Cathedral Parish, St. Stephen Church, Hazelwood, where Andrew was a former lector. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Andrew was a Staff Sergeant in the US Marines during the Vietnam War and a former Chairman, Vice Chairman and National Director of the William Penn Fraternal Association. He was an active member of the American Legion 538 and VFW 274.
