BATTLE URBAN Just shy of his 94th birthday, originally of Murrysville, passed away peacefully in Florida on July 27, 2013. He was born on September 23, 1919 to Louvina and James Battle of North Side. Loving husband to the late Geraldine; father of Michele Sharp (Richard), MaryLynn Graziani, also the late Dr. Arthur (Lisa) Battle and the late Jacqueline Battle; grandfather of Dana Demos (Michael), Michael Sharp, John Graziani, Brittany Battle, Brandon Battle; great- grandfather of Elise Demos and Michael Demos. He is also survived by his brother and sister. Urban was the Superintendent for Lands and Buildings for the city of Pittsburgh and a Navy veteran of World War II.
