ZAPPIA HELEN M. Peacefully at home on Sunday, June 23, 2013, age 92, of Morningside. Beloved daughter of the late Saverio and Jennie Zappia; sister of the late Frank and Mario Zappia, Josephine Colarusso and Anna Passafiume; aunt of Anna Maria Balbo, Sam Passafiume and Cynthia Marie Colarusso; also survived by great-nieces and nephews and cousins. Helen retired from the Pittsburgh Board of Education as an administrative assistant and served in the same capacity at McGee Women's Hospital. No visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raphael Church on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
