GREENAWAY ELIZABETH L. BETTY Of Urbana, and formerly of Versailles, OH, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the Sterling House of Urbana with her family by her side. She was born January 6, 1923 in Girard, OH the daughter of George and Ada (Mickey) Laughlin. Betty graduated from Munhall High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a very active member of the Everett United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and enjoyed cooking meals at church. Betty loved shopping, knitting and crocheting. She was a very kind and loving person; and was known for her many 'one-liners'. She is survived by her daughter, Terry (Edward) Larson of Mechanicsburg; grandsons, AJ Larson of Columbus and Jason Larson of Mechanicsburg; the father of her children, Albert Greenaway; as well as several nieces and nephews, including, Mardeen Finif of Pittsburgh. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her son, William Bill Greenaway; brother, George Laughlin and sister, Margaret Maszkiewicz. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the Urbana United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Lillibridge officiating. Services are entrusted to SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg, OH.
