COHANE MARJORIE J. YEAGER Age 73, of Verona, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015, from a long term health condition at Forbes Hospice in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, with family at her bedside. She was Presbyterian in faith. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome G. Cohane; and parents, William H. Yeager and Ethel G. (Tarr) Yeager. She is survived by a brother, William G. (Donna) Yeager of Parker, PA; a niece, Donna (Kris) Kandor of Parker, PA; cousins, Norman (Jenny) Milliken of Oil City, PA, and Janet (Roger) Hulbert of Crystal Lakes, MO; and many other loving cousins. In addition to her family members, Marjorie is survived by her lifelong friends, Bertha Ritchey and Alice Sommerfeld, both of Verona, PA, Bonnie Brady of Jacksonville, FL and Sandra Lewis Patrinos of Naperville, IL. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Verona, graduating from Verona High School. She worked most of her adult life for Riverview School District as a secretary at Verner Elementary School. Over the years she developed many close friendships with her co-workers, students and their parents who referred to her as Miss Janey. Prior to her declining health, Marjorie enjoyed car trips with her husband and close friends. She loved shopping and was always up for a day of treasure hunting at her favorite shops. Being quite the animal lover, Marjorie adopted and fostered many pets over the years from local rescue groups.
