WERNER JOAN (SERO) Suddenly, but peacefully, on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Beloved mother of George Sero and his wife, Christy, from Largo, FL, and Steven Sero and his partner, Alex Pinelo from Cooper City, FL; loving grandmother of Amanda Sero and Tyler Sero, both from Pittsburgh; sister of Virginia Novak; aunt of Elaine Martin and Tameka Banks Chaffin; dear friend of Mary Ellen Mazza, both of whom brought joy in to one another's lives with shopping, dinners, and movies. Joan was a dedicated employee for Care Connections for 27 years. She was so fond of the nursing field and staff she worked with. At her wishes, there will be no viewing, but instead a celebration of her life on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Friends can join the celebration at The Church of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. for a memorial mass. Luncheon to follow in the Garden Room adjacent to the church.
