ARONSON ALICE Age 82, of Renfrew, PA, passed away on March 16, 2018, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice. She was born March 26, 1935, in Louisville, KY, to the late Saul Ades and the late Jane Lederman Ades. Alice will be remembered as a soft-spoken, kind woman who enjoyed processing life. In 2013, she was a founding member of a group of women who would gather for meaningful retreats. Alice was instrumental in orchestrating this community of women seeking to discern the meaning of life. She was loved by all because of her acceptance of all. The group continued to meet with an increasing number of ladies coming from various parts of the world. She will be sadly missed. The group has decided to rename itself in honor of Alice, "our matriarch. As of March 16, 2018, the group will be fondly referred to as the "Alice Retreat. This group of ladies will also be celebrating Alice's life during a memorial service. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Johnson, Marguerite Sember, Mary Elizabeth Sember, Irene Yenco, and Joan Kvaka; his brothers, Alexander Sember, Theodore Sember, and Andrew Sember. John was a lifetime member of St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, Leisenring, PA, where he served as the Cantor from 1960 until 2011. He was a graduate of the old Dunbar Twp. High School, Franklin Community College, and the University of Pittsburgh. John proudly served his country in the United States Army Signal Corp., during WWII, in Okinawa, Japan. He served with the 8th Army HQ, in Yokohama, Japan. John was employed as an Internal Auditor with US Steel Corporation for 37 years, from 1949 through 1986. During that time he did extensive traveling in Europe, South Africa, Brazil, and Central America. John also did consulting work with a law firm in Washington D.C., from 1992 until 2003. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Joseph Sember, of Sharpsville, PA, and Eugene Sember and his wife, Elizabeth, of Scottdale, PA; his nieces and nephews, Judy Vaydovich, Debra Bellich and her husband, Sam, Barbara McGiffin, Cynthia Sebek and her husband, Don, Chris Kvaka and his wife, Kristin, Mark Kvaka and his wife, Michelle, and Jeffrey Yenco and his wife, Theresa; his great-niece, Tina Woodruff and her husband, John; 14 other loving great-nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Born in Kearney, NJ, she grew up in Asbury Park, NJ, and moved to Pittsburgh in 1958 when her husband, Tom, accepted a job at the Westinghouse Bettis Plant. They lived in Pleasant Hills for over 40 years. Nat loved to read, and aspired to be a backyard gardener, but the thing that gave her most joy as a young woman was ballet. She danced in productions at the Pittsburgh Playhouse like Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. She was also a talented poet, and enjoyed working with children, volunteering for programs like Headstart. In her 40's, she went to college as a non-traditional student, graduating from Chatham College with a degree in communications. She was preceded in death by husband, Tom; daughter, Beth; and sisters, Catherine Dalecki and Marjorie Booth. BEAUMARIAGE RONALD SYLVAN Age 81, formerly of Bethel Park, died the morning of Saturday, March 17, 2018, at The Windsor of Cape Coral Assisted Living facility, in Cape Coral, Florida. He passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of nearly 60 years, Sallie (Sica) Beaumariage; his son, James Beaumariage and his wife, Sophia; his daughter, Terrie Zeis, and her husband, William; his daughter, Mary Lucile Hawes, and her husband, Taylor; his son, Alexander Beaumariage II, and his wife, Ofelia: as well as 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, the only child of Alexander Sylvan Beaumariage and Mary Helen (Brubaker) Beaumariage, he was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh until the past few years when he moved to Fort Myers, Florida with his wife, Sallie, to be closer to family. He was raised in Mt. Lebanon and attended Mt. Lebanon High School graduating in 1954. This is where he met his loving wife, Sallie, his high school sweetheart. He attended Carnegie Mellon University earning his bachelor's degree in Industrial Administration and later went on to earn his master's in Business Information Systems from Duquesne University. Upon graduation from college, he married Sallie on September 6, 1958, in St. Bernard Church in Mt. Lebanon. He worked briefly for Alco Products in Latrobe, before taking a job with IBM that moved him to Endicott, New York. He subsequently returned with the family back to Pittsburgh, where he took a job with Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and earned the title of Professor of Computer Science working for 34 years toward retirement at the age of 64. Ron was an avid outdoorsman and shared his love of hunting with his sons and fishing with the entire family. He spent many hours with the children and grandchildren bird watching and teaching the kids how to fish and tie flies. Ron also enjoyed history, as well as jazz and symphony performances with this wife. Being a loyal fan, he loved to watch the Steelers from his seats in Forbes Field, Three Rivers Stadium and Heinz Field. Family and friends are invited to gather at LAUGHLIN CREMATION & FUNERAL TRIBUTES, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with interment in Jefferson Memorial Park to follow.
