Amy was born in Pittsburgh but had made Sussex County, Delaware her home over the last 20 years. She loved the ocean and often spent time at the beach. WIEDT GRACE MARY (GEARY) Passed from this world to the next on July 17, 2018, she was 101 years old. Grace was the daughter of James L. and Anna Mary (Entress) Geary and the sister of James F. Geary who predeceased her. Grace grew up in Pittsburgh on Suncrest Street and attended Seaton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. In 1940 she married Karl W. Wiedt, Jr. and together they raised their six children in Mt. Lebanon. In 1971, they moved to their farm, The Pillars, in Washington County. Grace is the dear mother of Mary Ann (late Paul III) Wellener, the late Karl W. (Sandra) Wiedt III, James G. (Nancy) Wiedt, Kathleen T. (L. Douglas) Fullen, Sara E. Wiedt, and Thomas G. Wiedt; Grace was the grandmother of 19 and the great-grandmother of 40. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the loving staff at Asbury Place and Asbury Nursing Center for the care that Grace received. DOUGHERTY PATRICK D. Age 58, of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, July 14. Seventh of eight children, Patrick was the son of the late Francis Dougherty and Elva (Sunday) Dougherty. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Parker (Christopher); grandson Brayden; siblings Raymond (Eileen), David, Dianne (Doyal), Nicholas (Linda), Gail, Russell and Linda; and longtime companion Jill George. Pat always displayed compassion for animals and loved horticulture. Pat's quick wit and sense of humor were enjoyed by all who knew him. He was an avid fan of Jeopardy, and amazed people by his vast knowledge and ability to answer the questions quicker than the contestants. He was lovingly referred to as Funcle Pat by his 19 nieces and nephews. He was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees IATSE Local #3.
