McCAULLEY FR. NEIL (CORNELIUS W.) On Saturday, June 28, 2014, born November 22, 1939, at Mercy Hospital. Only son of Frances Agnes Baumgarten and Cornelius J. McCaulley. He went to St. Agnes grade school in Oakland, Bethel High school, St. Gregory's Seminary in Cincinnati, St. Vincent's in Latrobe, and St. Mary's in Baltimore. He was ordained a Priest on May 14, 1966, by Bishop John Wright. His First assignment was St. Mary's of the Mount for five years, St. Alphonsus Springdale for one and a half years, Immaculate Conception Washington, PA for one and a half years, and team Ministry with Fr. Mark Glasgow at St. Louis in West Sunbury, St. Alphonsus in Murinsville, Epiphany in Boyers, and St. Pascal's in Argentine. Mark and Neil worked together for five and a half years, also with three sisters of St. Joseph. From 1980- 82, Fr. Neil was president of the National Federation of the Priests Councils, he lived in Chicago and traveled around the country meeting Priests and Bishops and church leaders. In 1982, he returned to Pittsburgh, and was assistant Pastor at Nativity in the North Side with Fr. Morgan Walsh for one and a half years. In 1984, he went to Pastor at St. Joseph's (St. Marks) in Port Vue, working as a team with Sr. Mary Theresa Leitem, O.S.F for ten years when the parish was merged. Fr. Neil and Sr. Mary Theresa went to Sr. Stephen's in Hazelwood for 16 years. These two pastorates were very satisfying work. These people were truly wonderful. At 70 years of age, Fr.
