Richard retired as a lab manager at Wilkinsburg Penn Joint Water Authority. He loved science and history and was a Pittsburgh sports fan. Richard is survived by his loving children, Derick of Pittsburgh, Scott of Chicago, Wendy (John) Miraglia of New York, and Nicole (John) Richard of Virginia; his five grandchildren, Robyn, Vincent and Eve Mirgalia, Gabriel and Jude Richard; he is also survived by his sisters, Marsha McNulty and Diane McNamara; as well as his brother, John Janik.
