KUCENIC JOHN Age 92, of South Park, passed away peacefully November 5, 2014. Born on April 3, 1922, he was the son of the late Sophie and Miles Kucinic. He was the loving father of sons, John J. (Mary Ann) Kucenic and the late Samuel Kucenic; and daughter, Penny Chesko; and cherished grandfather of Sara Matias and David Kucenic, who he lived with; and five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. John was a proud World War II veteran. Once discharged, he started a weight room at the Greensburg YMCA with a four foot rug and a wooden bench for lifting weights. He was an avid weight lifter who lifted weights for over 70 years. At the request of “Big John” and family all services will be private. ANNA LEO ANTHONY Age 70, of Allison Park, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 50 years of Marie M. Anna (Hanlon); father of Kimberly Ott (Thomas) of Mars, PA, Colleen Krause (Brian) of Valencia, PA, Kathleen Cook (James) of New Port Richey, FL, Charlotte Parson (Michael) of Bear, DE, Sharen Anna (Mick Mesvaros) of Tampa, FL, Jennifer Wisniewski (Leonard), Thomas Anna of Allison Park, and the late Patrick Anna; brother of Donald and Marlyn Anna and Ruth Beringer; he was the adored grandfather of Nicole and Jessica Ott, Margaret and Daniel Wilson, Molly, James III, Patrick, Braden and Bruce Cook, Joshua, Jacob and Josie Parson, and Leo and Mya Wisniewski. Leo, born Nov. 8, 1943, in Patton, PA, graduated as a chemist from John Carroll University and started several businesses centered on his numerous inventions and unique formulations used in the steel industry, and later for chemical containment and residential swimming pools. He was an active member of St. Ursula Parish since moving to Allison Park in 1977. Leo will be remembered by most for his light-hearted sense of humor, his strong faith, and his deep love for his family. KIRKPATRICK IRENE (COUCH) A longtime resident of Natrona Heights, died November 3, 2014, with her family by her side, in Ilion, NY. She was one of seven daughters of Charles and Rose (Mann) Couch. She was an avid supporter of her family, the First Baptist Church of Tarentum and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Mary, Isabelle, and Ethel; daughter, Linda Sue Feitknecht; and her husband of 63 years, Dale L. Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, The Reverend David and Nancy Kirkpatrick of Mohawk, NY; sisters, Edwinna Clay, Donna (Ed) Lanigan and Georgetta Wixson; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- granddaughter. DOUDS DR. HOWARD N. Age 95, of Friendship Village, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, on Friday, November 7, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Douds; loving father of Jean Douds, Howard N. (Shirley) Douds II, and Margaret Howard; also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dr. Douds was a graduate of Geneva College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He was a WWII Army veteran having been commissioned upon graduation from Medical School. Dr. Douds was an internist in Mt. Lebanon and on Staff at St. Clair Hospital from 1954 until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, a longtime member of the choir and a soloist. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. WINGARD RAYMOND RANDOLPH Age 83, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Raymond “Randy” Wingard was a native Alabamian who believed strongly in community involvement as a natural part of life. Randy had a personal history of professional affiliations and community involvement, some of which include the American Red Cross, Allegheny Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America, The American Cancer Society, Baldwin County Family Violence Shelter, The Lighthouse, and the Community Foundation of South Alabama, which he chaired from 2010 to 2012. Randy was president of Wingard Enterprises, Inc. in Gulf Shores, a strategic, financial, and human resources consulting firm. He attended Southern Methodist University and acquired an advanced management degree at Harvard University. He had over 40 years of involvement in strategic and financial management in Fortune 500 Companies, primarily Koppers Company, of Pittsburgh, PA. After “retiring”, he became Director of the Railway of the Railway Tie Association for the next eight years while also continuing pursuit of his entrepreneurial actives, particularly in the area of cancer research. Biblical history and travel were also Randy's passions. He traveled to Greece several times to study the Apostle Paul and also visited Europe, Japan, and Australia, among others. He will truly be missed by all over the world. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Gainnell Wingard; his parents, Raymond Wingard and Lurlyn Sanders; and his brother, Dr. Robert Wingard. He is survived by his children, Renee Guzlas (Ron), Diana Kay Wingard, all of Gulf Shores, AL, Rebecca Wingard-Daniel (Greg) of Chattanooga, TN, Randi Robin Patterson (Bob), and Ray Randy Wingard (Meta), all of Fairhope, AL; five grandchildren, Eric, Bethany, Penney, Casey, and Mark; and three great-grandchildren, Tessa, Jaxon, and Grace; and many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held from Gulf Shores United Methodist Church, 1900 Gulf Shores Parkway, Sunday, November 9, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours prior to funeral services.
