MARRACCINI ZOLA MAGRINI Of Elizabeth, passed away on December 10, 2014, at the age of 90, in the Southwestern Nursing Home. Born May 16, 1924, in Tuscany, Italy, Zola came to America at the age of 23 as a war bride. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil; sister, Linda Scheffler; and former husband, Jacques Tachoir. Zola's parents owned the Trattoria Toscana restaurant in La Spezia, Italy for 22 years, before it was bombed in WWII. Zola was married to Virgil (Virgie "The best barber in town") Marraccini for 45 years, raising a family, enjoying life and the American dream. Surviving are sons, Roger (Kathy) Tachoir, Jack (Kristen) Tachoir; daughter, Gigi (Tim) Greaux; sisters, Ivana Desideri of Italy and Jone Langlands of Virginia Beach, VA; brother-in-law, Angelo (Sally) Marraccini; seven grandchildren, Joel, Jill, Evan, Carolyn, Michael, John and David; five great- grandchildren, Lucca, Matthew, Gavin, Lizzi and Leah; nieces and nephews, Denise, Kim, Mitchell, Rick and Peter of Virginia Beach, Janet (Pat), David, Eddy, Darrell, Angie, David and Mary (Lancaster) and Luigi, Linda and Rochele of Italy. Janet was a member of Indianola UP Church, worked with the Rachel Carson Homestead and enjoyed doing art work and sketching. He was born on November 24, 1953, in Graham, North Carolina to the late William Roy Hashinger, Jr. and Martha Hopkins Hashinger. Beloved husband of 34 years to Joan Isenberg; unconditionally loving father of Jonathan and Leah Hashinger; brother of Jane (John) Adams; uncle of David (Tracy), Ann, and Caitlin Adams, Rachael and Emily Isenberg; great- uncle of Caroline, Henry, and Natalie Adams. Bill graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a bachelor's degree in Architecture. Throughout his career at Landmarks Design Associates, Bill was known for his excellence in design and oversaw the restoration of historical buildings throughout Pittsburgh. In his childhood, he earned the nickname Sweet Bill for his uniquely loving, sensitive, and easygoing spirit. Bill was a world traveler, animal lover, volunteer, and dedicated Pittsburgh sports fan.
