She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Myrda. She attended High School at Utica Free Academy and graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, NY where she received a Associate Degree in Secretary Science. While in high school and during college she worked as a secretary at Choinacki Insurance Co. in Utica, NY. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie T. Dziedzic of Little Falls, NY. She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Topor; and three married children, Sharon J. Selepec and Thomas M. of Pittsburgh, PA, Richard M. Topor and Diana L. of Inver Grove Heights, MN and James E. Topor and Samantha J. of Brentwood, CA; she is also survived by four granddaughters, Lauren N. Topor, Britney L. Topor of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Jessica J. Topor, Jenifer J. Born November 2, 1933 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William E. and Virginia Daschbach Morrison. Married to Helen C. (Clinger) Morrison, who passed away on February 14, 2012. Retired engineer with Eichleay Engineering, Point Breeze, employed for over 20 years. Sadly missed by his two sons, Thomas Morrison and his wife Jeannine Prokop of Herndon, VA and Scott Morrison and his wife Tracy of Pittsburgh; his three grandchildren, Stephanie, Grace, and Stuart; his half-sister, Betsy Morrison Linhart and her husband Don of Leechburg; and his half-brother, Robert “Bob” Morrison of Delmont. CERASO RITA JEAN (PAGLIARULO) 85, of Leechburg, passed peacefully into the Lord's hands, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born, February 7, 1928 in Vandergrift, she was a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Napoli) Pagliarulo. Rita was the St. Gertrude's 1946 May Queen and a 1947 graduate of Vandergrift High School. It was there she met the love of her life, Dr. Frank L. Ceraso. They were married in 1951 and spent the next 62-plus years as best friends and companions in a relationship forged in deep love. As Dr. Ceraso worked establishing a successful dental practice, Rita raised her family with the nurturing and guidance that would prepare them for success later in life. She will be forever known as a selfless and caring person, living her life as Jesus taught. Her kind soul, warm heart, selflessness and loving embrace will be missed, but we know God awaits his newest angel with his open and loving arms. She left this world a better place for those of us privileged enough to be touched by her soul. She was the wife of the late James L. Blaha; and the mother of the late James K. Blaha, who died January 17, 1992. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Jeffery) Handra of Washington, PA, and Jeffrey (Charlene) Blaha of Bristow, VA. She was the grandmother of Julia and Jaime Handra and Truman and Rory Blaha; and the sister of Richard (Rose) Guidos of W. Mifflin. She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church. Richard proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. FITCH WILLIAM "BILL" T.S. 76, of Washington, died Monday, January 13, 2014 in the Washington Hospital. He was born October 12, 1937 in Washington, a son of the late T.S. and Janet Reed Fitch. Bill was a 1955 graduate of Northwestern Military and Naval Academy in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He went on to graduate from Yale University in 1959. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. After his service, he graduated from the Harvard Business School. He was a local businessman and was associated with Washington Steel, as well as his own businesses. Bill was an avid golfer, and was a member of the Nemacolin Country Club for over forty years. In November of 1968, he married Natasha Ignatieff, who survives. She lives in Noumea, New Caledonia. Surviving, in addition to Natasha, are three sons, Colin (Renee) Fitch, Esq. of Washington, Eric (Kathy) Fitch of Upper St. Clair, and Prof. Tecumseh (Gesche) Fitch, Ph.D of Vienna, Austria; a brother, Thomas E. Fitch of New York, NY; three sisters, Mary Keliikipi of California, Mundy (Scott) Fergus of Washington, and Madeleine Fitch-Pitcher of Oakmont; two grandchildren, Erin and Tommy Fitch, and many nieces and nephews. ENTERLINE PHILIP ERNEST, Ph.D Died at age 92, in Stuart, Florida. He was born in 1921 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. His parents were John Ernest Enterline and Charlotte Bates Enterline. Philip is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne Piatt Enterline; and Children, John, Janis E. Baker (Chris), Jeffery (Lori), Gayle E. Myers (Donald), Eric (Carol), Carla Enterline-Heger (Steven); he is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Allison Enterline, Michael and Alex Baker, Rush, John, Jillian and Grae Enterline, Ian Myers, Pamela and Nathan Enterline, Cameron and Evan Heger. He was predeceased by Barbara E. Grim and Jane E. Suarez, his sisters. While in College, Philip was on the swimming team. This was the prelude to a lifetime love of water, water sports, and boating. Philip graduated from Westminster College in 1942 with a BBA in Economics and received a Masters degree in Statistics from American University in 1954. Philip also received a Ph.D from American University in Demography in 1960. He was a Professorial Lecturer at American University 1960-1965. From 1965 - 1967 Philip was a Professor of Medical Statistics at McGill University. From 1976-1987 Philip held the following positions at the University of Pittsburgh: Chairman of Biostatistics, Director of Environmental Epidemiology and Member of the University Research Council. In 1977 Philip was voted the Statistician of the Year in the US. From 1984-1994 while at the University of Pittsburgh Philip was a member and consultant for the following agencies: Asbestos Advisory Committee, US Navy, US EPA Risk Assessment Forum - Arsenic, Science Advisory Board, US Environmental Protection Agency, Mine Health Research Advisory Committee, NIOSH, Science Advisory Panel, Semiconductor Industry Assoc., Board of Advisories, Southwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety, Harvard Advisory Committee on EMF and Human Health. Dr. Enterline published 146 papers and received multiple honors including the Distinguished Flying Cross while serving in the US Army Air Force during WWII.
