CERASO RITA JEAN (PAGLIARULO) 85, of Leechburg, passed peacefully into the Lord's hands, on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born, February 7, 1928 in Vandergrift, she was a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Napoli) Pagliarulo. Rita was the St. Gertrude's 1946 May Queen and a 1947 graduate of Vandergrift High School. It was there she met the love of her life, Dr. Frank L. Ceraso. They were married in 1951 and spent the next 62-plus years as best friends and companions in a relationship forged in deep love. As Dr. Ceraso worked establishing a successful dental practice, Rita raised her family with the nurturing and guidance that would prepare them for success later in life. She will be forever known as a selfless and caring person, living her life as Jesus taught. Her kind soul, warm heart, selflessness and loving embrace will be missed, but we know God awaits his newest angel with his open and loving arms. She left this world a better place for those of us privileged enough to be touched by her soul. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five sons, Dr. Greg (Tina) Ceraso of Johnston, IA, Mark (Alice) Ceraso of Pittsburgh, Kevin (Marci) Ceraso of Lower Burrell, Dr. John (Karla) Ceraso of Pinehurst, NC, and Joel (Regan) Ceraso of Lower Burrell; and one daughter, Natalie (Michael ) Bozzone of Cheswick; 13 grandchildren, Melanie Ceraso, Gina Ceraso-McKeever, Nikolas Ceraso, Patrick Ceraso, Jessie Ceraso, Lyndsay Bozzone, Mikayla Ceraso, Julia Bozzone, Domenik Ceraso, Katie Bozzone, John-Michael Bozzone, Taylor Ceraso and Michael Ceraso; great-granddaughter, Juliana Rose McKeever; sister, Marie Kowalczyk of Allegheny Township; and a brother, Frank (Bernice) Pagliarulo of The Villages in FL. Visitation will be on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 429 Franklin Avenue, Vandergrift, PA 15690.
