FISCH SANDRA S. Of Upper St. Clair, on Monday, April 25, 2016, passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of 55 years and high school sweetheart of Jack W. Fisch; loving mother of James Fisch (Amy) and Julie Sabol (Keith); and loving grandmother of Elizabeth Fisch, Karen Sabol and Ryan Sabol. Born February 23, 1938, in York, PA to parents, William and Mary Shaw. She graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in elementary education and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She taught and substituted in Castle Shannon and Upper St. Clair school districts. Her favorite grade to teach was fourth grade and her loving, caring personality was an inspiration to all of her students. A longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, she served there faithfully in many capacities including as a Stephen Minister. She and her husband traveled extensively, visiting all 50 states, most of Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She loved cheering on the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, but by far her favorite leisure activity was spending time with her grandchildren.
