KASARDO THOMAS J. COACH TOM Age 64, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, at his home in Chalfont Boro. He was born August 20, 1951, in Braddock, son of the late George and Ruth (Hunnell) Kasardo, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Annette (Polovchik) Kasardo; sons, Tyler and Alex and the late Thomas, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Georgine Saccamango of Swissvale, James G. Kasardo of Swissvale, Lee Ann Fox (Michael) of Westchester, Nancy Brush of E. McKeesport, Carol Brush (Tim) of Swissvale, Patricia Kasardo of East McKeesport, Peggy Romano (Kenny) of Wilkins Twp., Pam Kasardo of Madeira Beach, FL, Paul Kasardo (Richelle) of N. Versailles, the late Mary Ellen Kasardo. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Theresa Polovchik; sister-in-law, Cheryl Ponnell (Jack); and many nieces and nephews. Tom loved his family, proud father, was known as a storyteller and enjoyed jazz music. He loved coaching basketball in the St. Maurice and AAU Leagues. Thomas worked as an Environmental Field Inspector for ALCOSAN and as a salesman for Mack Trucks. Tom was a councilman in Chalfont Boro and formerly in Swissvale.
