LEGGATE RICHARD L. Age 58, of Erie, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, April 16, 1955, a son of the late Emma Rose Tyskewicz. Richard proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated husband, devoted stepfather, devout Catholic, gifted craftsman, master woodworker, avid fisherman and passionate Steelers fan. Survivors include his wife, Diane L. Leggate of Erie; two stepsons, Timothy J. Potocki (Christine) of Townsend, DE and Christopher V. Potocki of Brooklyn, NY; his stepfather, Joseph Tyskewicz of Naples, FL; two brothers, James Leggate (Debbie) and Neal Leggate (Clare), all of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces, nephews and his loving canine companion, Mickey, also survive. No calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Church, 2004 E. Lake Road, Erie, with Rev.
