BROOKS ANN L. Of Library, at home, on Saturday, January 11, 2014, age 82, born March 8, 1931, daughter of the late Ida and Ira Brooks; sister of the late Jeanne (James) Gadd, Ruthe (Dr. Robert) Cochran, Herbert and Dr. Richard Brooks; sister-in-law of Sarah and Claire Brooks; aunt of Betsy Gadd, Ruthanne (Thomas) Kuder, William (Dolly) Gadd, Dr. Daniel (Loretta) Brooks, Libby Gadd, Lynette Brooks and the late Ross, James and Theodore Brooks Esq.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, most living out of state. Ann was employed at ALCOA for over 40 years. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist. She was a life-long member of Peters Creek Baptist Church and a member of the ASPCA. A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Peters Creek Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors, Salvation Army or ASPCA .
