GOLEMBESKI ALMEDA DEDE (ZANDONA) Passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 89 years of age. Dede was born in Freeport, Pennsylvania on July 28, 1924, to Massimo and Cornelia Zandona. She married the love of her life, Ed Golembeski, in April 1947. Dede was a long time resident of Ingram, where she and her family lived for over 50 years and served in numerous positions supporting the Ingram Civic Club, the Volunteer Fire Department Wives Group and as a CCD teacher at Ascension Catholic Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, known for telling children's stories, making desserts, and her infectious energy. She is survived by her daughter, Florence (James) Snaman; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kristy) Snaman, Dr. Jennifer (Josh) Currier, Julie, and Jessica; and two great- grandchildren, Jude Snaman and Max Currier. Predeceased by her husband; her parents; her three sisters, Emma, Naomi, and Pearl; and her brother, Oliver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 12, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Freeport, PA with interment immediately following in St. Mary's Cemetery.
