ELEANOR E. ZAPPA Age 91, formerly of Liberty Borough, died Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Florida. She was born in Pittsburgh on November 5, 1928, and was the daughter of the late John and Julia Takacs Rozgonyi. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Zappa, Sr.; and son, Carl R. Zappa, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (George) Gobel of The Villages, FL, formerly of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Jason (McKala) Gobel, Brandon Gobel, Summer (Nick Zabriski) Gobel, Carl Zappa III, and Colt Zappa; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Raylee Gobel; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Zappa; sister, Julia (Rudy) Verhas of Ashtabula, Ohio; sister-in-law, Nancy Rozgonyi of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Rozgonyi and Eugene Rozgonyi.
