WILLIAM JAMES "BILL" LITTLE, JR. Age 76, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, at South Mountain Restoration Center, South Mountain, PA. Bill was born August 6, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of William and Dorothy (McConnell) Little. He was married to Mary Urda in Pittsburgh, PA and they were together until her death in 2010. Bill is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Jobes, and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary, sisters Dorothy Maddox and Charlotte Murray. Bill dedicated his life to the city of Pittsburgh where he worked in the Park and Recreations Department for 40 years before retiring in 2009. He had a heart of gold - willing to help out anyone who asked for it. With his wife, he took care of the lawns of many residents in the Bloomfield area. Bill and Mary were proud homeowners and invited many over to his house to enjoy his train display. A private service will be held at Winter Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2020. He will be buried next to his wife in Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA. The family would like to thank the staff at South Mountain Restoration Center for care of Bill during his last four years.
