RYAN VIRGINIA (KUZNICKI) Age 72, of Edgeworth, formerly of Shadyside, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Family Hospice Canterbury. Born in Pittsburgh on March 3, 1942, she was one of two daughters to the late William and Mildred (Zalnasky) Kuznicki. In 2002, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel P. Ryan. Loving mother of Ronald McCormick (Julie) of Sewickley and Shannon Lutz (Robert) of Key West, FL; cherished sister of Carol Obel (Steven) of Shaler; devoted grandmother of Ben (Claire), Kelly, Sarah, Billy, Danny, Caleigh, Colin and Kelsey. Virginia was a member of St. Stanislaus Church. She had been the office manager of the Pittsburgh Federal Court System and previously worked for the Law Firm of Gilardi and Cooper. Visitation Sunday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at COPELAND'S SEWICKLEY, 702 Beaver St., where prayers will be recited on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, 21st and Smallman, 1711 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222. McCABE JAY F. Jay F. McCabe, age 79, of Finleyville, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Cherry Tree Nursing Center in Uniontown. He was born February 12, 1935, in Pittsburgh, a son of William and Helen Martin McCabe. Mr. McCabe was retired as an operating engineer with Trumbell Corporation in Pleasant Hills and was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 66 in Pittsburgh. Surviving are his wife, Marianne Jablonski (Kelly) McCabe; a son, Scott McCabe of Cleveland, OH; a daughter, Jamie Roberts and her husband, Jimmie of Sharpsville, PA; two stepsons, Matthew Kelly of Pittsburgh and Ryan Kelly of Boonton, NJ; two stepdaughters, Jackie Kelly-McHale of Tinley Park, IL and Judy Acheson of the North Hills; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. KRALL FRANCES L. Age 95, formerly of Port Vue, died March 26, 2014, at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg. Born November 8, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Scuderi) Petrulli and the wife of the late Charles C. Krall. Frances was a devoted housewife and loved to bake for her family and friends. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church in McKeesport. Frances had worked in the cafeteria at South Allegheny Elementary School, and earlier in life for the PA Dept. of Welfare. Survivors include son, Charles F. Krall of Mechanicsburg; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by siblings, Phillip, Ida Sarnicola, Mike, Sam, Theresa Fichera, Leo and Rosalie Roper.
