
RIEHL MILDRED (THOMPSON) Age 89, of Friendship Village, on Friday, June 27, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Edward P. Riehl; loving mother of Diane (Robert) Unetich, William (Kimberly) Riehl, Mary Ann (George) Belles and Joan Riehl-Fitz; cherished Nana of Michael, Richard, William, Jr. Billy, Rachael, Ryan, Emily, Michelle, Brian, Jacob, Joshua, and the late John Unetich; loving great- Nana of John Robert JR, Charles, William, Audrey, Madeline, Greyson, Megan, Katherine, Evan, Zachary, David, and Nicholas; sister of the late Dolores Luzader; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mildred was the treasurer of the Volunteer Service Board auxiliary of Magee-Women's Hospital for many years. She loved music and reading, and enjoyed her many friendships at Friendship Village. This fund was established to preserve John's memory and to help facilitate the future existence of the place that he called home for six years. Southwinds, Inc. is a local non-profit organization that provides residences, life skills, and a family environment for adults with intellectual and developmental challenges, A Place to Call Home.
