Teenie was such an inspiration to her family and friends. She was the loving wife of the late James R. SABOLCIK VIOLET M. Of Clarks Mills (Perry Twp.), passed away August 7, 2014, at the St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars. She was 85. She was born on May 10, 1929, to Elmer and Frieda Chraska in Millvale, PA. On September 20, 1951, she married Methada Sabolcik, who survives. Violet was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church, Stoneboro. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Keith Sabolcik of Clarks Mills, Russell (Diane) Sabolcik of Pittsburgh, Thomas (Mary) Sabolcik of Port Allegany, and Robert Sabolcik of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Frieda Regan of Cranberry Twp. and Anna Marie Mauldin of Clarks Mills; 13 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Bradt of Saxonburg; and two brothers, Russell Chraska of California and Donald Chraska of Texas. FITZGERALD JAMES JOSEPH A native of Pittsburgh, PA, quietly passed away surrounded by family on the evening of July 28, 2014. Jim joins Audrey, his beloved wife of 63 years, in eternal peace. His strength, humor and tenacity were tested by her loss five years ago. Jim was a WWII naval veteran, earned bachelor and graduate degrees from Duquesne University and was a long time employee of Lockheed, but was mostly a devoted husband, father and grandfather, whose sense of fun and generosity, especially at Christmas, extended to all who knew him. He is survived by his three daughters, Suzanne (Ron) Hunter, Lynn FitzGerald (Jim Hughes), and Patricia (Robert) Reynolds; grandchildren, Holly, Jonathan and Timothy (Bernadette) Hunter, James (Katie) Reynolds and Ginger Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Joshua and Isaac Reynolds. AUSTIN MARY L. Age 85, of Cooksburg, PA, passed away early the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Clarion Hospital. Formerly of Gibsonia, PA, Mary was born March 24, 1929, in Dormont, PA, the daughter of John Thomas and Anne (O'Donnell) Garvey. She was united in marriage on April 25, 1953, to Edwin R. Austin, who preceded her in death September 10, 1989. While living in Gibsonia, Mary worked at St. Barnabas Nursing Home and Richland High School Cafeteria. After moving to Marienville in 1990, she worked for the U.S. Forest Service, served as Secretary/Treasurer for Barnett Township in Forest County for 18 years and worked at Kwikfill in Marienville for several years. Surviving are a daughter, Pamela J. Eck and her husband, Adam, of Cooksburg; a granddaughter, Ashley E. Eck of Cooksburg; and a grandson, Edwin S. Eck and his fiancée, Emillie Myers, of Butler. Additional survivors include two great grandchildren, Camillie and Edwin S. Eck, Jr. of Butler, and a third great-grandchild soon to be born; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas E. Garvey, Michael Garvey, and William Garvey. As per Mary's request, there will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church in Marienville on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 10 a.m. with Father Christopher Barnes, Pastor, as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary's name to the Marienville Area Library or the Marienville Food Bank.
