WINSLOW JOSEPH ALBERT Age 69, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014, in a local hospital. He was born in West Mifflin, PA and was the son of the late Anna Nagy Winslow and John A. Winslow, and the widower of Elizabeth Ann Winslow. Joe had retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service, during which he participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis. He recently retired as sales manager of A & B Propane Co. He was one of the founding members of the Total Image Truck Club, and a member of the V.F.W. in West Mifflin, PA. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joseph M. Winslow (Anne Marie) of Chesapeake, and Daniel J. Winslow (Angela) of Newport News; a sister, Joan A. Durham of Leavenworth, KS; and three grandchildren, Christopher S. Winslow of Virginia Beach, Jade N. Gillis (Ricky) and Chance M. Winslow, all of Chesapeake. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chesapeake Chapel of H.D. OLIVER FUNERAL APARTMENTS, 1416 Cedar Rd. KORPA NORMA JEAN Age 75, of North Port, FL, passed away August 5, 2014. She was born May 11, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA. Norma was a sales associate for more than 20 years with Kaufmann's Department Store in Pittsburgh. She moved to North Port in 2004. Norma was the life of the party, vibrant and the sweetest person you ever met. DUSENBERRY BERNARD “DUSEY” D. On Monday, August 4, 2014, Bernard D. Dusenberry, age 92, resident of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry, formerly of McCandless. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor E. Dusenberry; father of Denee (Todd) Stevenson, of Big Beaver, Debra D. (late Roland) Koll, of Bailey, CO, Daryl (Jeff) Rahenkamp, of McCandless, and Diane (Mark) Welling, of Kennewick, WA; grandfather of Ann, Ellen, Aaron, Evan, and Elainna; great- grandfather of William. Services private. Mr. Dusenberry was a 1943 graduate of Allegheny College and a member Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. During WWII, while stationed in India, he served in the USAAF as a 1st Lieutenant Burma Hump Pilot, crossing over the Himalayas to drop supplies in China and South Asia. He was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses and the China War Memorial Badge with five battle stars. He continued flying with the Condor Flying Club, Zelienople, until he was 80 years old. Mr. Dusenberry was a CPA and partner at Main, Hurdman & Cranston, now KPMG. A former trustee and auditor at Northmont U.P. Church, he was also a member of the Pittsburgh Rotary Club, Wildwood Country Club, and the Duquesne Club. He was an avid reader and world traveler. WILLIAMS EARL Age 86, of Wilkinsburg, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at his residence. Born April 19, 1928, he was the son of the late John and Ida Mae (Simmons) Williams. He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War and a retired mail handler with the U.S. Postal Service. He was affiliated with various Elk Lodges and VFW Posts on the North Side and in the Hill District. He is survived by his daughters, Dorine Williams and Carmen Ridout; a sister, Josephine; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Carlos; and his brother, Odell. Beloved husband for 35 years of Tere Eglar-Bilsky; loving and proud father of Caroline Eglar Bilsky of Hanover Township and Evan Francis Bilsky currently attending the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy; brother of Michael Bilsky (Cassie) of Bethel Park, Walter Bilsky (Judi) of Baldwin, Mary Ann Kubiak (Richard) of Carrick and the late Jean Selko (surviving spouse Ronald of Pittsburgh); cherished son-in-law of Frank and Mary Eglar of Pittsburgh's South Side; brother-in-law of Bonnie McCabe (Bill) of Hampton Township and Steve Eglar (Nellie) of Baldwin; as well as many nieces and nephews. TORBIN LEE I. Age 64, of Fawn Township, passed away, Saturday, August 9, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his family following a brief illness. He was born May 19, 1950, in Pittsburgh. Son of the late Joseph and Marlene (Lautman) Torbin. Lee has lived the past 12 years in Fawn Twp. and prior to that the Pittsburgh area. He was a Sergeant for Allegheny County Police, Homicide Division for 30 years, also PA Gaming Control Board, South Western Regional Director. Lee was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, boating, motorcycles, outside work, maintaining his home, was a Pittsburgh sports fan, and was an avid cook. Survivors include his wife, Judith A. “Judy” (Vybiral) Torbin; children, Christopher S. Torbin, Pittsburgh and Amanda L. (Joe) Jennings, Shaler Twp.; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Baker) Indorato, Pittsburgh; a sister, Sandra (Victor) Siegel, Monroeville; and three cousins, Sid of San Francisco, Phyllis of Pittsburgh, and Alan of Colorado. Lee also enjoyed spending quality time with his best friend, John (Patty) Lemro of West Deer Twp.
