He is also survived by his loving partner of 27 years, Ann Rose and their dog, Murray. Peter served as a marriage and family therapist at the South Hills Health System and as a family therapy consultant at the Vet Center. He maintained a private practice as well. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time at Starbucks and walking Murray in Frick Park. Red was the husband of 66 years to Mary Grace who passed away 35 days before him. Red was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Red was born in Pittsburgh on October 19, 1923, and moved to Penn Hills when he married. Red is survived by his sons, Joseph (LiLi) Newcome of Springdale, and Mark (Kathy) Newcome of St. Albans, WV; his daughter, Juliann (Doug) Duffus of Aurora, CO; his sister, Joan Newcome of Beverly Hills, CA; his daughter-in-law, Teri Newcome of Natrona Heights; his sister-in-law, Marjorie; his grandchildren, Jennifer Newcome, Elizabeth Duffus, Michelle Duffus, Thomas Newcome, Jessica Chiaravalle, Mary Catherine Robinson, Josh (Ashley) Jordon, Jacob Jordon, and Ryan Glynn; his great- grandchildren, Peyton, Kendra, and Alexa; his many nieces and nephews.
