AMATO FRANK F. Age 64, on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, Frank F. Amato, of East McKeesport, passed peacefully into life eternal. He was the son of Elizabeth Betty Burdell Amato of East McKeesport and the late Frank D. Sonny Amato. He was born in Braddock on September 20, 1950. Frank was a retired auditor for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Frank is also survived by his daughter, Tara Amato, of Monroeville; and brother, Frederick Amato, of East McKeesport; and his grandson, Dominic Lyle; aunt, Peggy Scherbanic; nephews, Frank (Bridgette) Amato and Gabe (Jasmine) Amato; his longtime companion, Amanda McCarthy; and his former wife, Marianne Husar Amato; and many cousins. Frank was also preceded in death by his nephew, James Amato. Calling hours with the family will be on Monday, April 6, 2015, in the SCHLEIFER FUNERAL CHAPEL, INC. David was born on November 9, 1943, in Brownsville, PA, son of the late Raymond Wood Hartman and Mildred Bertha (Barber) Minton Hartman. He was a graduate of Moon High School and attended LaSalle College. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking. He was a mason and member of Coraopolis Masonic Lodge 674. Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara, of 48 years are one son, David Van Hartman, Jr. (Kelly); two daughters, DeAnn Anundson and Jennifer McWreath; three grandchildren, Jacob Hines, Donald McWreath and Darby Anundson; two brothers, William Minton (Abbie) and Robert Minton (Terry); one sister, Margaret Mauro (Nick). He was predeceased by four sisters, Rayann Hartman, Delma Bise, Ruby Minton and Velda Tassone. LASLAVIC STELLA STEPHANIE L. Age 95, from Glenshaw, passed from this life on February 25, 2015, at a hospice house in Collierville, Tennessee. Mrs. Laslavic was born September 7, 1919, in the Soho neighborhood of Oakland in Pittsburgh, to Polish immigrants, the late Stephen and Aleksandra Swiech. She had been an office worker at Carnegie Mellon University, and was proud to have been able to send her two sons to that school. She is survived by those sons, Michael Laslavic (Martha) and Thomas "Tim" Laslavic; and by two grandsons, Alexander (Kenna) and Nicholas Laslavic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; and by her siblings, Joseph and Walter Swiech and Irene Rudock.
