Beloved husband of Patricia Noble of 53 years; loving father of Juliana (Donald, Jr.) Giles, Andrew (Sharon) Noble, Jennifer (Mark) Chambers, and Elizabeth (Mary Ann) Noble; caring grandfather of Sean, Eamonn, Elizabeth, Michael, Annie, Owen, Sarah, Emma, and George; brother of Susan Steider. Lee had an illustrious career of more than 25 years at Bayer Corp., until his retirement as Executive Vice President. He was also the Chairman of the Board of Life's Work of Western PA and the Pittsburgh Project for Employment for Persons with Disabilities, now known as Project for Freedom. Lee was also on the Board of Directors of UPMC, the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance. He also gave his time and talents to the University of Pittsburgh serving on the Board of Trustees and the Board of Visitors of the School of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. BODE LORRAINE "LORI" B. 88, formerly of Wilkinsburg and Wilkins, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, after a brief fight with melanoma. Lori received her B.A. from Westminster College, where she honed her love of theater and English literature. Growing up in Brockton, MA, she never lost her love of New England, spending many happy summers on Cape Cod and Nantucket. She also loved Pittsburgh and became an active part of her community. Continuing to operate the Turner Funeral Home in Wilkinsburg following the death of her first husband. Raising five children in the Second United Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder, choir member, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the Women's Association. Later, she became an Associate member of First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach, FL. Her community involvement included theater life, where she performed in the Theater Club of Pittsburgh and was one of the founders of the Wilkinsburg Theater Group, where she directed the play "Our Town". Also, she was involved in the Wilkinsburg Historical Society, Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club, and the Junior Women's Club, served on the Board of Westminster College Alumna and Woman's Club, PEO-chapter J, and Pittsburgh Panorama tour business. Lori is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Frederick W. Bode, Jr.; her children, Thomas D. (Darlene) Turner IV, Anne (Mark) Chase, James (Laura) Turner, Sally (Craig) Ramsdell, and Mary Elizabeth Turner; grandchildren include, Dave, Heather, Adam, Scott, Erin, Abigail, Nathaniel, Ellie, and Will; also surviving are great- grandchildren, nieces, and many stepchildren and step-great- grandchildren. Lori was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Steadman; and her husbands, Thomas D. Turner III and Harry Hosford, Jr. Lori lived life to the fullest and had a zest for life and embraced it with love and laughter. Whether she was singing in the choir, playing tennis, planning a family gathering or spending time with friends, she lived it with passion and joy. Her strong faith was an inspiration to her family and friends. MOORE ELEANOR ANNA What an amazing woman! Eldest of 14 children, Eleanor, age 94, was raised in Aspinwall. Died on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She married John Moore (deceased 1997) in 1940, and together they built a field stone house off of Middle Road in Glenshaw. She is survived by three children, Ellen, John and Elaine; four grandchildren, David, Stephen, Derek and Brian; and four great-grandchildren, Devon, Mckenzie, Jeremiah and Adrienne; brother, Herbert Fritsch; sisters, Katherine Koch, Anna Mary Brick and Florence Marsh. Eleanor was a member of the Middle Road Fire Hall Women's Auxiliary, St. Mary Christian Mothers, Middle Road Girl Scouts, and PM Club. She was elected to the position of the Election Majority Inspector, and helped with numerous dinners, carnivals and events in the community over her lifetime. She was a gardener, incredible cook and hostess, homemaker, seamstress and mother. She always had a smile and welcomed company into her home, making even a simple meal into a celebration. She was deeply grateful to God for the wonderful life that she had with a husband who loved and cherished her, in the home that they built together, with a loving family, many good friends and a long and healthy life to enjoy all of the blessings that she had received. Born July 5, 1994 in Katana, Sri Lanka, and adopted by Robert and Nancy Titus in January of 1995, went home to the Lord on November 19, 2013, after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy. PK was a loving and compassionate boy with a brilliant smile, a strong faith, and a joyful heart. He was a self-described Ladies' Man, and an expert on cars. He loved collecting car toys, attending Mon Valley School, going to church, listening to music and spending time with his family. Though confined by his disease and his wheelchair, his heart reached out and touched so many! He is greatly missed by his parents; his twin brothers, Joshua and Josiah; his sister, Mei Lin; his grandparents, Nick and Joan Craddock; aunt, Kelly; cousin, Amelia; his other relatives, and his church families of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and Bethel United Presbyterian Church.
